Community Transformation

Project Bridges is committed to developing and strengthening the evangelistic outreach and community service efforts of the local church. The Bible makes it clear that serving God ultimately translates into serving others. When we serve others we glorify God by building up His Church (The Body of Christ). We believe that service is absolutely necessary and every born-again believer should be engaged in Christian service outside the four walls of their churches/ministries.

“Each one should use whatever gifts he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms." — I Peter 4:10 (NIV)

In 2010, Project Bridges worked with the leadership of a small group of member churches to explore ways they could be more visible in showing God's love in their communities. The "best practices" taken from pilot projects like these, will be used to develop practical urban ministry models designed to more effectively minister to the needs of people - both physically and spiritually.
